Hey guys. I am back in Orlando after a special week out in California. I started my trip as I said working with Neale Smith just south of LA. We got some great things accomplished in our all day session. We worked alot on routines while on the course, especially the time between shots. Since you are on the golf course for about 4 1/2 hours each time and only narrowing your focus on specific shots for about a total of 30 minutes, there is a lot of down time. Instead of thinking about my round, Neale is trying to get me to get away from the competition during this period. It has seemed to really help so far. After seeing Neale I headed up the coast to spend the rest of the week in Carmel, California. I got to play a fun round of golf at Pebble Beach. Once arriving back home to Florida I wasted little time in implementing my new knowledge from Neale in a competitive setting. The Hooters Tour was at Rio Pinar this past week and I ended up finishing the tournament in 42nd place. I started off the first day with a 3 under 69 and unfortunately couldn't get anything more going the rest of the week. It was refreshing to finally make a cut after a bit of a struggle the past month or so. I am really looking on building on this tournament for bigger things. We play at Rock Springs Ridge this week starting again on Tuesday. Upon completion of the tournament I will be headed to Cancun, Mexico for the PGA Tour Monday Qualifier. My game is sharp, so I am really looking forward to a productive week that will hopefully end with a birth in next week's PGA Tour event in Mexico. Keep you posted!!
